Matoni

Matoni is a stunning tavern restaurant located just minutes away from Bacvice beach.
The interiors resemble a classic wine cellar, and is a perfect escape from the
hot summer heat. The menu takes you on a journey through Croatia, with menu
items ranging from unique carpaccios to homemade pastas, and they also serve
many dishes fit for vegans, vegetarians, and those that are gluten free. In
addition to their wide range of wines, they also boast a wine shop, allowing
you to purchase that delicious wine you had with your meal. Definitely a
restaurant for the books, this is not one you want to miss.

Konoba Marjan: Konoba Marjan is located beginning of your way up to Marjan hill. This small, family-run konoba is in the heart of the Varoš quarter. A long standing local favorite, essentially everything in Adriatic seafood repertoire is here. At Konoba Marjan you’ll find your grilled fresh fish, seafood risottos, scampi, and squid. You’ll also find traditional Dalmatian fare like pašticada (traditional Dalmatian stew). Daily specials range anywhere from black risotto, octopus brujet, goulash or mussels in a white wine sauce. The wine list is excellent, showcasing local boutique wineries and a sommelier at your service. There are also a few seats outside on the street leading up to the Marjan hill.

Zinfandel
Food & Wine Bar:
Since its opening in 2013, Zinfandel Food & Wine Bar
has become a leading force in the restaurant scene in Split. Zinfandel boasts
over 100 bottles of wine and over 30 wines by the glass, with most of their
wines delivered straight to them from the vineyards of boutique winemakers and
renowned estates. Zinfandel offers up a plethora of food options, ranging from
charcuterie, Croatian cheeses, mussels buzara, octopus salad, arugula steak
salad, and perhaps most enticing is their 3-tier signature platter of hot and
cold starters. Their main courses range from 300g aged ribeye, veal cheeks a la
pašticada, seabass en papillote, and one menu item not to miss: their tuna
steak. Don’t miss out on their desserts!

Dvor:
Dvor is located above the beach in the Firule cove. Their terrace offers a
stunning view of the sea beneath you, and the decor transports you into the
perfect Dalmatian courtyard. Serving up a modern take on Dalmatian cuisine,
Dvor specializes in meat and fish dishes prepared on a charcoal grill. One
thing not to miss here? Their desserts! Be sure to try the three chocolate
pudding, you won’t be sorry.

Bokeria:
Bokeria opened in 2014, and has surely been making an impact ever since.
Located in the heart of the old town, Bokeria is decorated with prosciutto
chunks hanging from the ceiling and a full wall dedicated to Aperol bottles –
need we say more? Their menu is everything to write home about, combining an
incredible combination of flavors and creativity into each dish. Honorable menu
items? Don’t miss out on their ceviche or beef carpaccio, and their gourmet
burger is made with prosciutto and truffle oil. They also serve breakfast –
eggs benedict anyone?
