Kayak tour of Palagruza - AndAdventure Croatia

Economic Responsibility

AndAdventure employs local guides. Beside the fact that this brings economic benefits to the local community, local guides are familiar with the area and know other locals, which ensures the perfect AndAdventure experience.

We direct our travelers to local accommodation providers. An overnight in a private accommodation enhances the visitors’ experience, providing an opportunity to be welcomed by local hosts to get better insight in the everyday life of Split city and Dalmatia in general.

By doing this, our travelers also help to contribute to the local economy and quality of life here. While on tour, we stop for lunch in family restaurants, giving our guests an authentic opportunity to taste some typical homemade regional specialties and at the same time help the local economy.

Environmental Responsibility

At AndAdventure all guides are intimately aware of their surrounding and are trained to provide each traveler with suggestions of how to minimize potential negative impacts to the environment and marine ecosystems.

Our guides emphasize the importance of maintaining the natural environment as it is, keeping the level of human presence and influence to the minimum. We observe nature, but do not disturb it.

We also design and develop our programs keeping in mind the impact each will have on nature. While sailing, we use the power of the wind as much as possible; for kayaking and walking we use our body and muscles – which develops our own strength.

We are careful not to cause any form of air or water pollution and we try not to produce noise that could be disturbing to marine life.
