UPDATE 17th March 2021
Notice from US Embassy for US travelers visiting Croatia: Entry for tourism is permitted only with documentary evidence of an accommodation paid in advance and in full, prior to arrival at the border (The accommodation reservation alone is not sufficient to be permitted entry). Tourists must have a negative PCR test result not older than 48 hours from the time of the swab to crossing the border.

SARS-CoV-2 testing in Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia is done at the Public Health Institute (Vukovarska 48, Split).
Signing up before testing is obligatory, and you can do it by sending an email to edita.olujic@nzjz-split.hr
The name and the surname, date and year of birth, returning email address, and the contact cell phone number should be stated in the mail.
You will get the responding mail with the date and the time for your testing.

Please be sure to bring the printed payment confirmation when you come to the testing.
It is possible to pay by credit card or cash when you come to the testing, but we strongly recommend paying in advance to avoid long waiting time. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, and Diners.
Exceptionally if you do not have an email address you can sign up for testing by calling the phone +385 21 401 128 from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. We apologize in advance as you may wait a long time to reach us by phone due to a huge number of calls.
UPDATE 14th JULY:
New border regulations for non-EU/EEA visitors to Croatia and a PCR test or self-isolation requirement are causing some confusion. Since midnight, July 10, citizens of non-EU/EEA/UK need to either bring a negative PCR test no older than 48 hours from (counting from the time of taking the swab to arrive at the border crossing point) or enter a 7 to 14-day self-isolation at one address upon arrival + proof of paid accommodation or business reason to enter Croatia.

The latest IATA guidelines for travel to Croatia
It is recommended to follow IATA guidelines for more updated information on flying to Croatia. At the moment, Croatia is on the list of countries that accept tourists with proof of booked accommodation/ boat charter.

Do I have to self-isolate after entering the Republic of Croatia?
From 1.7.2020. border police does not determine the measure of self-isolation upon entering the Republic of Croatia.
A leaflet with instructions and recommendations from the Croatian Institute of Public Health will be handed to all the passengers, regardless of citizenship.
