Croatia Tour Itinerary
Private sailing trips can depart any day of the week depending on boat availability. The following itinerary is just an idea/suggestion of what can be done in the number of days you sail. Your own itinerary will depend on:
- Weather conditions
- Your preferences
- Distances
In the early morning, we will leave Primošten and sail to Skradin, one of the oldest Croatian town, situated on the river Krka, at the entrance to the Krka National Park. Skradin is a city of long and rich history that, based on archaeological findings, can be traced back to the prehistoric Iron Age. The structure of the town was built mainly in the 18th and 19th centuries, influenced by Venetian design. Skradin is a romantic Mediterranean city with narrow paved streets, alleys, and vaults. The entire city center is a protected cultural monument. We recommend you to visit the Krka National Park, an untouched natural gem. Two large waterfalls Skradinski Buk and Roski, and a monastery on the island of Visovac situated in the middle of lake Visovac, are worth seeing. The Park includes 7 travertine waterfalls and covers an area of 109 km². Skradin has one of the best ACI marinas in Croatia, where we will dock for the night.
On this day of our sailing adventure, we will cruise to nautical paradise Kornati Islands, an archipelago of 140 islands and islets. When we enter the world of a magical National Park Kornati, you will see many enigmatic lagoons and white beaches, which will leave you breathless. The vegetation is different from the typical Croatian shore, instead of a rich pine forest, you will find white cliffs and endless azure sea. The Kornati Islands cover an area of 320 km², and it’s the most indented island ecosystem in the Adriatic Sea. The islands characterize cracks, caves, and rugged cliffs. Small marina Piškera will be our anchoring place for the night.
