Croatia Tour Itinerary
Are you ready to explore Plitvice Croatia and beyond?
We will meet you at Split airport and start with a transfer to your hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival, we plan an afternoon activity for you so you can learn more about Split and start enjoying your destination. On a city tour with a visit to Marjan Hill, you’ll enjoy great panoramic views of the town and surrounding islands.
Tour starts with a journey on a ferry from Split to the Island of Solta. Besides cycling, you will taste some of the traditional dishes and desserts unique to this area, such as homemade liquor, extra virgin olive oil, anchovies, olive pate, and octopus pasta. You’ll top it all off with a Dalmatian desert and great local wine. We will attend a presentation on the life of bees and the tasting of products (honey, fresh pollen, propolis, royal jelly).
Today we will depart to one of the most beautiful islands on the Croatian coast – sunny Hvar, including Sea kayaking to the Pakleni islands Archipelago. The evening is all yours to explore this amazing little town hiding numerous restaurants, taverns, shops, and bars in a maze of stone houses, alleys, churches, and squares.
Discover authentic Dalmatia through the abandoned villages of Velo and Malo Grablje. Enjoy the traditional architecture and learn a little bit about Mediterranean plants, especially lavender, and their importance for this area. The walk can be from 4-11km of a hike, so you can choose which you prefer.
Croatia offers a unique sailing experience thanks to having over 1000 islands that are spread along its coast. We’ll sail in one of the most beautiful parts of the middle Adriatic; a favorite destination of sea and island lovers. We sail from Hvar to the island of Vis, where we will enjoy swimming in one of the beautiful bays and visiting Vis town.
Ready to explore Plitvice Croatia?! We leave Hvar on the morning ferry. As you arrive in Split, a private transfer will pick you up and take you to the Plitvice National Park, the first Croatian National Park. Hike along the wooden paths and bridges, in and around Plitvice Lakes – UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the visit, you will continue on a shuttle to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, where you will spend the night.
The city of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia (which sits on the historic and political threshold between East and West) illustrates both the continental and Mediterranean spirit of the nation it spearheads. Meet with your local guide and enjoy a guided tour of the town in the morning. Rest of the day at leisure.
All good things must come to an end. Today is the day to say goodbye to Plitvice Croatia and its wonderful colors, flavors, and places. We will plan this day according to your flight details and ensure you will have a smooth trip back home.
