Three countries, three personalities, one continuous journey along one of Europe’s most beautiful corridors.

From our base in Split, we’ve spent two decades building relationships across all three countries — with guides, hoteliers, winemakers, and chefs who share our belief that the best trips feel personal, not packaged. When your clients travel with us, every border crossing is seamless, every transfer is handled, and every detail is designed so the only thing they notice is how the landscape keeps changing.

Our multi-country journeys start from two weeks. Three weeks is better. These countries reward a slower pace — and the transitions between them are part of the experience, not something to rush through.

The Grand Adriatic

Three Weeks, Three Countries

Imagine starting in Ljubljana — a capital so walkable it feels like a village, with a castle above the old town. Head north into the Julian Alps: Lake Bled’s island church reflected in still water, the emerald gorges of the Soča Valley, a vineyard dinner in Goriška Brda where the winemaker pours from the barrel and nobody wants the evening to end.

Cross into Croatia and the landscape shifts. The Istrian peninsula is truffle forests and hilltop villages with views to the sea. Island-hop south along the Dalmatian coast — Hvar’s lavender hills, Korčula’s medieval alleys, Vis with its hidden coves and the kind of quiet that’s getting harder to find in Europe. Linger in Split, where Diocletian’s palace is still a living neighborhood, and follow the coast to Dubrovnik.

Then south, through the most beautiful border crossing on the continent, into Montenegro. The Bay of Kotor opens like a fjord — mountains dropping into water, Perast’s baroque palaces, a tiny island church built by fishermen over centuries. North to Durmitor, where glacial lakes and the deepest canyon in Europe make everything before it feel like a different trip entirely.

Coast & Alps

Two Weeks, Two Worlds

Start in the Julian Alps, where the air is mountain-sharp and the lakes look painted. Ljubljana for a morning — just long enough to fall for a capital you can walk across in twenty minutes — then north to Bled, Bohinj, and the Soča Valley, where emerald water cuts through gorges so deep the light barely reaches the bottom. Slow down in the wine country of Goriška Brda, where rolling hills feel like Tuscany without the crowds and every dinner is a farmhouse event.

Then cross into Croatia, and everything changes. The coast stretches south in a long ribbon of islands, walled cities, and water so clear it almost doesn’t look real. Sail between islands, hike coastal trails with views of the open Adriatic, eat fresh-caught fish at konobas where the tables sit on the waterfront and the boats are still tied up ten meters away. End in Split or Dubrovnik — the kind of cities that make your clients understand why people keep coming back.

The Dalmatian South

Two Weeks, Coast to Canyon

Begin on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast — Split’s ancient palace quarter, the lavender-scented island of Hvar, the fortress town of Korčula where Marco Polo may have been born. Island-hop at your clients’ pace, stopping wherever the water looks right, before following the coastal road south to Dubrovnik: walls at sunset, kayaks in the shadow of the old city, a dinner on a cliffside terrace with the Adriatic stretching to the horizon.

From Dubrovnik, the border crossing into Montenegro is one of the most scenic in Europe. The Bay of Kotor opens up — mountains so steep they seem to lean over the water, medieval Kotor’s stone maze, Perast’s tiny island churches. Then inland: over the serpentine road of Lovćen to the mausoleum at the summit, through Cetinje’s quiet royal capital, and north to Durmitor where the landscape turns wild — glacial lakes, the Tara River Canyon, forests that haven’t changed in centuries.

One Partner, No Seams

Timing.

Multi-country itineraries work best from May through October. June and September are the sweet spot — warm enough for the coast, clear enough for the mountains, uncrowded enough that your clients feel like they have the place to themselves.

Pace.

We design for two weeks minimum, and three weeks is better. These countries are small, but rushing through them defeats the purpose. We build in breathing room — a free afternoon in Split, a morning with nowhere to be in Kotor — because the best moments on a trip are usually the unplanned ones.

Borders.

Croatia and Slovenia are both in the Schengen Area and use the Euro — your clients won’t notice the border. Montenegro is outside Schengen and requires a passport check (no visa for US, Canadian, UK, or Australian citizens). During peak summer, the Debeli Brijeg crossing can have wait times — we plan routes and timing to minimize delays.

Logistics.

One coordinator in our Split office handles everything across all three countries. Private transfers, local guides, hotel bookings, restaurant reservations, ferry schedules, border crossings — your clients don’t think about any of it. You get one point of contact, one invoice, one partner.

Booking.

We recommend 6–9 months lead time year-round. The best boutique properties across all three countries book early, and multi-country trips require more coordination than single-destination itineraries.
